Web Designers: How do you make that little logo that appears when you bookmark a site?

I don’t know how clear my question is, so I’ll try to explain it more. I use Firefox’s Toolbar feature, and when I bookmark sites to the toolbar or to the normal bookmarks tab, a little logo appears for some sites. When creating a web site, how do I make a little logo like that appear for my site?

It’s called a favicon as in favourite icon. Wikipedia has a comprehensive article on this:

It called favicon
just add this tag in the head of your page.
<link rel="icon name" href="http://yoursite.com/favicon.ico" />
