Do Web Developers make good income in the States?

Currently I’m a part time web developer working in Asia, just a bit curious.

There are tons, but depends where you’re at. Biggest area for IT right now is in the Northern Virginia, D.C., Baltimore areas. I make 65,000 in MD and I’m just a little over 2 years out of college.

I wouldnt try in, well, Kansas for example.

California is good too, but their standard of living is much higher than east coast.

Good income is relative… I am a web developer myself and I started developing ASP.net websites less than a year ago. I make 5000$ a month. There may be better offers out there…
