What do website designers in saudi arabia charge?

Im trying to find someone to design a website to help my small business. But I am on a budget. I found someone who sent me a prototype and did a very nice job. They want to charge 1250 for the work and 600 for the domain name.
Ive never done anything like this before, and I dont know what is considered cheap or expensive. Is that average? too much? a good deal? So far this is the only person Ive asked.

If you’re willing to work with someone outside of Saudi Arabia, I can recommend a muslim woman in the US who does really good work. Please contact me if you’re interested and I can pass on her information and website to you. I have no idea what she charges, but I’m sure her prices are very reasonable. She’s a stay at home mom and could use the income.

I’m looking to purchase a website designer that applies the drag n’ drop technique. I’ve only had experience with one, Coffee Cup Visual Site Designer. Should I purchase that one, or are there any others worth considering?
