I don’t know how clear my question is, so I’ll try to explain it more. I use Firefox’s Toolbar feature, and when I bookmark sites to the toolbar or to the normal bookmarks tab, a little logo appears for some sites. When creating a web site, how do I make a little logo like that appear for my site?

It’s called a favicon as in favourite icon. Wikipedia has a comprehensive article on this:

I’m a graphic designer and seeing your site I have some suggestions to make :
In your home page you need to make the width of the page smaller as not to have the scroller in the bottom of the page. This is how the professionals do it: no scrolling in the bottom, everything needs to be under your client’s eye without making them to scroll right or left.
The other thing is your navigation’s buttons are a little small for the website like this. Try making it bigger and I think changing the color to another would be nice to. And about navigation: besides the navigation in the left side of the page, you need to have the same links in plane text letters in the bottom of every page; this makes it easier for the visitors to "travel through the site.
Other than these I think the background you have is a template; try doing something different and original for the website.
